“Not to us, Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”
– PSALM 115:1
It all started in the backyard...

During a time of prayer and fasting in March 2020, we both felt that the Lord was calling us to Westport to help build a community of believers and a place of worship. At the time, we were serving as Elders at Grace Community Church in New Canaan, and we lived in Norwalk. So we started praying for a new home in Westport. Six months later, we moved to Westport, just weeks before housing prices skyrocketed due to the COVID-driven migration to the suburbs.
As an act of gratitude and faithfulness to the Lord, we started hosting church services in the backyard of our new home in May 2021. We invited friends from our previous church, neighbors, and new families whom God introduced us to in Westport. We were so encouraged because every week, a new couple or family visited our backyard services.
As COVID rates increased and temperatures fell, we were compelled to halt our services. However, we felt convicted that God would show us the next step in His plan, so we began praying for greater clarity and guidance. Just a few months later, God provided an amazing opportunity for us to meet weekly at Bedford Middle School. Meeting in the cafeteria, surrounded by the flags of many nations, we offer up our praise and worship to the Lord in an intimate and scripture-filled setting.
We invite you to join us for our weekly service and take part in the amazing fellowship we share in Jesus Christ. To God be the glory forever and ever! Amen.
